Shaw Home Director Receives 2014 Emerging Leader Award


Kristine Donnelly, Executive Director of the Hannah B.G. Shaw Home, is the recipient of LeadingAge of Massachusetts’ 2014 Emerging Leader Award. Kristine was presented with this accolade at the Sixtieth Annual Meeting of LeadingAge Massachusetts which was held Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at The Verve/Crowne Plaza in Natick.

According to LeadingAge Massachusetts, the 2014 Emerging Leader Award acknowledges the “accomplishments and contributions of those who exemplify and advance the missions of LeadingAge Massachusetts’s member organization.” 

“Kristine has consistently demonstrated tremendous leadership, extraordinary tenacity, and outstanding commitment to serving the Home and its residents,” remarked Home President Robert Desrosiers, “She has played a pivotal role in the success of an historical period in the Shaw Home’s life.”

Ms. Donnelly joined the Hannah B.G. Shaw Home in May 1991 as an outside consultant and was appointed in 2008 as Controller. In 2009, she participated in an Administrator In-Training Program at The Shaw Home and received her Nursing Home Administrator’s License in May 2010. In May 2013, she was appointed as Administrator of the Home. 

Ms. Donnelly holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Bryant University and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Administrators. She is a resident of Lakeville and lives with her husband and children.
