As children, most of us enjoyed some type of family tradition which elicited excitement, along with heartfelt memories. In the Keyes family, Easter had such a tradition--the children would receive a homemade lamb cake from their mother, Marion, decorated with Easter grass and chocolate eggs. Even though Marion can no longer bake, the tradition of the lamb cake continues. Now, her daughter makes the lamb cake and on Easter Sunday she brought one in for Marion. A simple gesture that means so much to mother and daughter alike. Thank you Keyes family for sharing your family tradition with us.
