Welcome Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority

The Hannah B.G. Shaw Home welcomes Bridgewater State University’s Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority. The Sorority will be volunteering their time for the benefit of our residents over the course of the academic year.

The Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority was established in 1989 at the Bridgewater State University and is celebrating 25 years of being a sisterhood. Their core values are leadership through service, inclusiveness, and lifelong learning. Everything they participate in must fulfill one of these values.

The Sorority participates in many philanthropic activities and events around the community including fundraising to support impoverished communities and schools in hope all children have the opportunity to attend college, American Cancer Society Relay for Life, and Making Strides for Breast Cancer Walk.

“We are very excited to be able to volunteer our time to the Hannah B.G. Shaw Home,” remarked Megan Avallone, Philanthropic Chair, “Thank you for having us.”

We welcome the Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority to our Home and look forward to seeing the sisters around the Home.
